The Inside Sales role will effectively sell all Company products to maximize distribution and sales volume, successfully utilize point of sale, and ensure all Company products are priced competitively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Using professional telephone sales techniques, conduct a complete telephone sales call on assigned accounts on the proper day and in the established sequence selling the complete product line. Use the account's sales history as a selling tool. Ensure all products in each account are reviewed on every sales call to prevent out-of-stocks and call-ins. Follow established order transmission schedule to ensure efficient warehouse, delivery, sales, and retail functions. Work with Area Sales Managers to ensure product freshness at retail through KEG 1 Missouri Quality Program processes. All accounts must be thoroughly rotated a minimum of once per month. Close-dated product that will not move through the account must be removed from retail prior to going out of date. Out-of-date product must be removed from retail per Company protocols. Communicate daily any details of special tasks needed regarding displays, new placements, point of sale, and other duties in the assigned accounts. Maintain distribution at required levels for all suppliers and assigned core sku's. Participate in all monthly distribution initiatives. Pursue new placements and lower PTCs on all special promotions or new everyday lower prices on the products you sell and merchandise. Be aware of all competitive activity and opportunities to increase sales in assigned accounts. Check and note pricing on all competitive products in each account. Report to Director Portfolio Management all new competitive activity in assigned accounts. At sales meetings, share information with Sales staff that will benefit the Company. Participate in supplier quality assurance programs. Maintain a positive working relationship with the owners, managers and employees of assigned accounts and demonstrate a sincere interest in the business success of each account. Responsible for ensuring all time worked is properly and accurately recorded utilizing the appropriate, designated modes of timekeeping. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the Company.
