The Analyst is a subject matter expert in SAP SD / OTC (Sales & Distribution / Order to Cash) with 3+ years of hands-on SAP experience. The level of this position and compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s level of experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate may have previously been a functional lead, key user, or business process owner in the SD functional area and can effectively "speak the language" of the business. A strong understanding of end-to-end business processes is essential. Key responsibilities include process analysis, requirements gathering, impact assessment, and solution implementation. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and technical teams are critical.
Responsibilities
Business Engagement & Requirements Gathering Work independently with business stakeholders in the SD/OTC functional areas across regions and time zones to clarify and document business and functional requirementsWork with other IT and business functional leads to gather and document requirements for cross-functional business initiatives, ensuring alignment across teamsServe as a liaison between business users and technical resources to ensure alignment and clarity in business requirements and proposed technical and functional solutions
Solution Design & Implementation Partner with technical teams and business end users to build, test, and implement solutions for SAP SD/OTC functional areasCollaborate with other IT and business functional leads to design, build, test and implement cross-functional solutions that deliver expected end-to-end business outcomesCreate and maintain the related functional specifications and documentation. Ensure the functional documentation, along with related business processes, is clear, accurate, and up to date
Training, Support & Continuous Improvement Provide end-user training or training documentation for newly implemented solutionsManage and resolve support tickets related to the SAP SD/OTC functional area. Document the root cause and resolutions within the support systemIdentify, research, and recommend enhancements; work with the delivery team to prioritize and implement improvements
General Responsibilities Deliver work accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of customer service.Remain flexible and perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to deliver high-quality solutions within scope and timeline in fast-paced environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to design solutions that balance efficiency, performance, security, and compliance.
Quick learner with adaptability to new concepts and tools
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of SAP SD/OTC processes including but not limited to Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Delivery, Rebates, Intercompany, etc required
Experience in requirement gathering, designing, developing, testing, and deploying system solutions to fulfill business requirements required
Understanding of the integration between SAP SD/OTC and other SAP ECC components required
Global implementation experience in regions such as the Americas, EMEA, and Asia is a plus
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
A minimum three (3) years of experience with SAP SD modules as key user or as functional lead is required; a minimum of seven (7) years of experience is required to be considered for the Sr. IT Analyst level role
Ability to perform SAP functional configuration, modify user exits, or read/write SAP ABAP is a plus
Experience with SAP AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution) is a plus
Travel Requirement
The preferred location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY, but may consider remote candidates who can travel to Headquarters as needed

The salary range for this posted position is $75,000 - $105,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. This range considers IT Analysts and Sr. IT Analyst levels. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
