gpac (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with a respected regional law firm in the Pittsburgh area to find a Jr. Litigation Associate Attorney for its expanding Transportation Law practice. This is a great opportunity for a motivated attorney who is ready to take ownership of cases and develop in a hands-on, trial-focused environment. About the Role This position focuses on transportation and general liability litigation , with mentorship from experienced partners. You’ll manage a caseload from intake through resolution, including depositions, hearings, and trial prep, while maintaining regular client interaction. What You’ll Do
Handle assigned cases with guidance from senior attorneys Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Prepare for and conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances Perform legal research and analyze complex procedural issues Work closely with clients and opposing counsel Engage in networking and client development efforts Support peer associates and collaborate within a strong litigation team
What We’re Looking For
Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (required) 3–5 years of civil litigation experience (required) Prior experience or interest in transportation law preferred Strong writing, case management, and communication skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality legal work Self-motivated and team-oriented
