To be considered to this position you will need at least 2 years of Retail sales experience. Prior knowledge of the Kitchen and Bath industry is a Plus. We serve homeowners, DIY enthusiasts, and contractors seeking high-quality materials at affordable prices. We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the customer experience. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure an appealing store layout. Supervise sales floor activities during shifts, providing guidance and support to team members as needed. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Be flexible and willing to assist with additional tasks or roles as needed, including duties outside of your primary responsibilities to support overall store operations. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers. Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
