Lab Inventory Sales Support Manager

Position Description This position will be responsible for independently leading a team of Sr. Sales Support Analysts that support various programs such as Lab Sequester, Stockpile, 3 PL, Unique Set-Aside, new business implementations, special projects as assigned, and oversight of $50M+ inventory purchases and transfers annually for all markets. Position will also partner with the sales organization, customers and leadership teams to enhance the overall customer experience. Specific responsibilities include: Manages a team of Sr. Sales Support analysts responsible for supporting the strategic growth of Lab business supporting Regional VPs, Area Sales Managers, and Account Managers for all markets. Responsible for independently leading the Sequester program (including Stockpile/3 PL) for the Lab, Ambulatory Care, Health Systems, and Government Markets. Ensure team is meeting customer on-boarding readiness expectations utilizing the Sequester program, Stockpile, and/or 3PL. Responsible for managing escalated allocation inventory needs, Special-Order Management program, special purchase deals, and special cost opportunities. Work directly with customers to obtain appropriate usage and suggest replenishment inventory as needed. Create, maintain and present processes for the Sequester program to customers on behalf of sales, which can lead to winning new business or retaining business. Oversee the management of unique item setups, ensuring contracts are adhered to and documented appropriately, and customer bill outs are processed to minimize excess inventory for all markets. Partner with PSSP on strategic initiatives related to specific lab growth opportunities. SME for cross functional discussions between Sales Teams, Supply Chain Mgmt., PSSP, Sales Admin, Legal, Operations, and Manufacturer for intersections that are required for various projects and initiatives. Lead varied projects related to operational changes, process improvement changes, and customer experience enhancements, while keeping departmental and business unit objectives in mind. Minimum Requirements 6+ years of inventory/supply chain experience preferred Project Management experience preferred 0-2 years of Managerial experience
Additional Knowledge & Skills Solid knowledge of inventory policies, practices and systems Experience with forecasting and demand planning concepts preferred SQL experience preferred
Education 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
