*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Lumber Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their lumber and building material needs, ensuring a positive experience. You will engage with customers, provide product knowledge, and support sales efforts while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. *Duties* * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating lumber and related products. * Provide knowledgeable advice on product selection, specifications, and usage. * Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems. * Upsell additional products or services based on customer needs. * Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. *Experience* * Previous experience in a sales or construction trade is preferred * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. * Basic math skills for accurate bidding and retail transactions * Familiarity POS and ERP systems is advantageous. * Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance is a plus.
