The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to prepare you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our promote-from-within philosophy, you will have the chance to advance into an Assistant Store Manager position following the successful completion of an immersive 8-week training experience. This role typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. During the program, you will work closely with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing leadership and strategic insights that are vital for the store's development and success. Throughout this program, you will learn all aspects of operations, client management, and internal strategies, ensuring you understand your significant impact on the team's success. You will also work to increase the company's market share by engaging with large commercial users such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers that require significant quantities of high-quality products. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Must have legal authorization to work in the country without needing sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the development program. Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: At least one (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service. At least one (1) year of experience in leadership roles or team supervision. Experience in a team-oriented environment, including work, extracurricular activities, or military service. Previous experience selling paint and related products is beneficial. Familiarity with timekeeping and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus. Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
