The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an exciting, entry-level opportunity designed to fast-track you into a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With a strong promote-from-within culture, you will have the chance to advance into an Assistant Store Manager position after completing an intensive 8-week training program. This role requires a commitment of about 44 hours per week, with potential evening and weekend shifts. Throughout the program, you will work closely with store management to oversee a million-dollar business. You will gain essential insights into store operations and strategy while playing a key role in driving the team's success. You will also focus on expanding the company's market share by selling to commercial clients such as painting contractors and manufacturers. Support business strategies aimed at increasing sales and optimizing profitability. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Maintain product knowledge for effective customer recommendations. Build and nurture relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Handle store administration tasks. Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and loss prevention measures. Uphold store condition and merchandising standards. Contribute to employee training and development efforts. Address and resolve customer and employee complaints. Partner with the Store Manager for outside sales initiatives to boost market share. Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Must have legal authorization to work in the country without sponsorship. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must hold a bachelor's degree by the start of the program. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service. Experience in a leadership role supervising others. Time in team-oriented settings such as work, extracurricular activities, or military service. Prior experience selling paint or related products. Experience with timekeeping or CRM systems. Willingness to relocate for future opportunities. Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, especially Spanish.
