Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our dynamic Industry Sales team.
As the Manager, Product Sales for Bentley Systems your goal is to meet and exceed new business objectives by directly managing a team of regionally dispersed Industry Sales Engineers who generate business from existing and new accounts. Growth goals will be achieved through engagements based on identified priority brands/solutions and by ensuring effective execution for these specified brands/solutions.
This role will lead the effort in expanding the Bentley Systems 'footprint' within the Product Sales Medium assigned accounts.
Responsibilities:
Boost product revenue and secure new clients with your team. Create prospecting campaigns and understand our prospects' business to highlight the value of Bentley software. Provide Industry Sales Engineers with sales training. Lead the design and the roll out of pipeline generation sales activities. Share strategic information such as market intelligence, key customer data, competitive analysis, and pricing information with internal teams. Manage daily sales team operations, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and target achievement. Collaborate with other company functions, such as solution engineering, marketing and product management, to align sales strategies with overall business goals. Embrace Business Value/Outcome-based Selling: define a common problem for prospects, identify and target those fitting these criteria, and demonstrate how a Bentley solution can solve their issue. Capture best practice and enable sharing of those, synchronize and enrich cross teams experience and usage to support “Level-Up” People and develop new Standards in Product sales. This role requires people management. This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week. This roles require communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions. Minimal travel required. Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements ).
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in AEC software sales or business development. 2+ years of experience in Team Leadership and Mentoring. Experience in AEC, Construction, Utilities and/or Government sectors necessary. Proven top performer in a quota-carrying sales role and proven experience successfully closing large volume of deals from new customers as a result with strategic planning, focus and drive. Highly Adaptable, tenacious individuals who can learn, develop, and combine innovative solutions for customer needs. Attention to detail, and insistence on excellence and “getting it right the first time.
