Responsibilities
: ● Team Leadership & Development:
○ Manage and lead team tasks and goals, ensuring alignment with company-wide initiatives.
○ Delegate responsibilities and empower team members.
● Deal Process Management & Optimization:
○ Own the entire deal process, from initiation to closure, including issue resolution.
○ Drive strategic and tactical process improvements and resolutions.
○ Actively participate in deal reviews with prospects, sales teams, and management, serving as an escalation point to ensure deal closure and increased sales velocity.
● Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:
○ Align with key stakeholders, including sales leadership, legal, finance, and support.
○ Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team, collaborating on pricing, product, and commercial terms for non-standard transactions.
○ Assist with complex contract negotiations and provide pricing options, deal construct alternatives, and business analysis as needed to facilitate the deal process.
● Pricing, Policy, & Reporting:
○ Lead recommendations for Deal Policies and Procedures
○ Prepare customer quotes and manage customer bookings, ensuring rapid response, high quality, and seamless cross-functional execution.
○ Manage subscription reporting to ensure new customers are set up correctly in all systems and that provisioning is canceled upon non-renewal.
○ Document, communicate, and enforce pricing, discounting, and deal policies.
● System Administration & Efficiency:
○ Provide proactive administration and support for Salesforce CPQ, identifying process efficiencies and automation while maintaining data integrity.
Basic Qualifications:
● 2- 5 years of management experience
● 5-8+ years experience in a deal desk, finance, contracts, order management, sales operations, or revenue role
● 3 - 5+ years of Software/SaaS industry experience
● Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and industry-standard CPQ tools.
● Proven experience navigating non-standard Enterprise Customer deals and Master Service Agreements.
● Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
● Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
● High commitment to quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
● Experience analyzing and synthesizing data to present management information.
● Proactive in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
● Ability to work effectively in a team, anticipate needs, and exceed expectations.
● Comfortable in a dynamic, results-oriented, and growth-focused environment; flexible to work extended hours during peak periods.
● Consistent track record of meeting individual performance objectives.
● Proficient with reporting and presentation tools, such as Looker and Google Docs.
● Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
