Benefits Extra bonus and compensation plan in addition to base pay Work in a fun environment with great people Great benefits Free gym memberships and discounts John Hancock 401k Aflac supplemental insurances Opportunities to grow within the company What sets us apart Dedication to our members’ successes and goals Integrity which creates life-long relationships Passion for people in the communities we serve Pride in what we do and who we are Leadership development (ongoing) Excellence in execution We are more than a gym; we are a family We want talented individuals who Have a positive, upbeat, and outgoing attitude Are passionate about hospitality and excellence for our members Can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment without sacrificing quality of service Have fitness industry experience (preferred) Love to constantly learn and grow When you come to work you’ll Tours potential members through the club and describes the facility, equipment, services, and amenities that directly tie back to their individual fitness needs and goals Ensure all guests are registered and entered into the system Communicate membership and fitness offers in a clear and concise manner using company-provided presentation tools Sign up guests using company sales techniques and protocol Adhere to the Membership Agreement Procedure when enrolling members and guests On-board new members successfully and assist with all member retention activities to drive club profitability Consistently achieve or exceed personal and team sales goals Obtain leads externally from within the community using company-provided tools/programs (e.g., community outreach, corporate sales on-sites) Generate leads/new business internally through member promotions, referrals, guest passes, and contacting leads generated via phone Set appointments for all leads and potential new business opportunities Consistently achieve or exceed personal productivity goals Partner with Membership Sales Manager to provide a best-in-class, member-centric experience Engage members with fitness offerings including personal training, group exercise classes, and Gold’s Gym SoCal digital content Maintain relationships with members and serve as a resource for questions or concerns Provide a clean, friendly, well-maintained club environment Help new members become comfortable in the club Must Haves Ability to use sound business judgment and have strong analytical skills Ability to effectively communicate with constituents Effective listening skills Effective delegation and follow-up skills Effective planning and organization skills Demonstrates ability to create a positive environment Demonstrates willingness and openness for self-development Ability to identify and use resources to improve overall operations Strong leadership qualities with motivational, communication, and team-building skills College degree preferred Current CPR Certification is required Bilingual preferred This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and maintaining a professional demeanor, clear communication, and appearance in a clean uniform are required.
