Membership Sales Director

The DeSoto Athletic Club is looking for an experienced  Membership Sales Director to generate revenue by selling memberships, services, and upgrades, focusing on acquiring new members and retaining existing ones through various outreach and sales strategies. Key responsibilities include managing sales targets, developing strategic sales plans, leading sales teams, conducting market analysis, and building relationships with community businesses and prospects to foster growth and achieve financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Lead Generation : ·         Proactively identify and prospect for potential members through networking, community events, referrals, and targeted campaigns. ·         Conduct tours, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of membership. ·         Generate and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective members using CRM tools and data-driven strategies. ·         Develop and execute individual and corporate sales leads.
Member Relations and Retention : ·         Focus on building lasting relationships with prospective and current members to ensure retention, referrals and renewals. ·         Provide excellent customer service to members and their guests, addressing concerns and inquiries. ·         Actively promote and participate in club social events to enhance community engagement.
Team Leadership and Management : ·         Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed sales targets. ·         Train staff on sales techniques, lead generation, and product knowledge. ·         Motivate the sales team to create a positive and productive sales environment.
Strategy and Reporting : ·         Develop and implement strategic monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans. ·         Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns to drive lead generation and increase awareness. ·         Track, report, and analyze sales performance metrics, lead sources, and conversion rates. Required Skills and Qualities ·          Sales and Communication : Excellent selling, closing, presentation, and networking skills are crucial. ·          Leadership : Ability to lead, motivate, and train a sales team effectively. ·          Customer Service : A commitment to providing exceptional and personalized service to members. ·          Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and follow-up skills to manage sales processes and data effectively. ·          Business Acumen : A strong understanding of the business community, local markets, and customer needs. ·          Technical Skills : Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite is often required
