As the National Sales Manager for the USA, you will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives across the United States territory. Your key responsibilities will include: Business Strategy: Develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the American market, in collaboration with the International Sales Manager, and consistent with Prevost's overall sales strategy. Establish a clear and detailed action plan designed to achieve sales targets. Conduct thorough market research to understand customer behaviors, expectations, and needs. Evaluate the performance of the sales team and enhance their effectiveness. Participate in the definition of budgets and setting of objectives. US Sales Activity Management: Drive business development efforts to expand our market presence. Manage relationships with key accounts, central offices, and consolidated groups. Organize and coordinate the activities of the sales teams. Oversee pricing strategies and ensure competitive offers. Review and address reports submitted by sales personnel. Provide guidance to sales staff facing complex challenges. Collaborate closely with the marketing team on events, sales support initiatives, and other activities. Work with teams in Greenville on logistics, supply-chain management, and back-office operations. Implement regular reporting to the International Sales Manager. Analyze sales data utilizing business intelligence tools such as Qlik. Negotiate contracts with a focus on building strong relationships with strategic customers. Define and track KPIs to measure performance. Team Management: Lead and manage the sales team through one-on-one meetings, team briefings, leave management, and the recruitment process. Enhance sales efficiency through organizational improvements and the introduction of new processes or tools. Foster a spirit of teamwork. Oversee the training and professional development of sales personnel. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications
Technical or commercial training, at least 5 years' experience in a similar position with team management.
Knowledge in commercial negotiation techniques and in compressed air is a bonus.
