New Business Development Executive – Temperature-Controlled LTL & Truckload
Are you a proven sales professional ready to take your logistics career to the next level? We’re looking for a driven, solutions-focused Business Development Executive to expand national accounts in the temperature-controlled LTL and Truckload market . What You’ll Do
Act as the go-to expert in temperature-sensitive LTL freight solutions nationwide.
Drive new business growth through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and warm leads .
Own the entire sales cycle : quoting, negotiating, closing, and onboarding clients.
Partner with experienced operations teams to deliver seamless, reliable service .
Stay ahead of industry trends, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
Travel (10–15%) for face-to-face meetings and networking events .
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in freight/logistics , including at least 3 years in sales (3PL or asset-based).
Direct temperature-controlled/cold chain experience is a must.
Proven track record of building and managing a $3M+ revenue portfolio .
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills .
Tech-savvy with CRM systems & Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency a plus).
A book of business you can leverage immediately (and no non-compete) is a major plus.
Education: High school diploma required; associate degree or equivalent preferred.
