The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Outside Sales Account Executive to drive growth in the market. This is a unique opportunity to build a territory with the full support and resources of an established market leader. You will be a key player in their expansion, responsible for prospecting new clients, managing the full sales cycle, and contributing directly to the company's growth targets. You will be a vital part of a collaborative team while working independently to achieve your goals.
What You Will Do
Grow the Business: Prospect for new clients through cold calling and networking to expand the company's presence in your assigned territory.
Consultative Selling: Analyze customer-specific needs and provide tailored equipment solutions, selling a mix of new, used, and rental material handling equipment.
Manage Relationships: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and renewals.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on current equipment values, market trends, and financing options to provide expert advice to your clients.
Collaborate: Work closely with a Regional Sales Manager for strategic alignment and support on complex deals, ensuring you have the resources needed to close business.
Who You Are
A proactive and results-driven individual with a minimum of 3 years of B2B outside sales experience.
Proven ability to close complex, long-cycle deals.
Experience in the material handling equipment industry (e.g., lift trucks, aerial lifts, racks) or a related industrial equipment or rental industry is highly preferred.
A self-starter who can work independently in a field-based role and manage your time and territory effectively.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team to achieve sales goals. You should be proactive, able to read and interpret information accurately, and committed to maintaining a high level of professionalism.
