We function as a problem solver, innovator, and best total cost provider to industries including Power, Refining, Chemical, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater, and HVAC & Institutional markets throughout all or part of ten states in the Midwest.

At Mead O’Brien, we’re looking for a driven, curious, and coachable Outside Sales Representative to take our Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois territory to the next level. This is a mix of new opportunity and established accounts in the municipal water/wastewater and industrial markets.
You’ll represent trusted brands like Limitorque, Ashcroft, ASCO, Bermad, Crispin, Shannon Insulation, Valmet, and more—helping customers fix real issues, not just selling parts. If you enjoy solving problems, digging into technical challenges, and actually being seen as a resource (not a nuisance), this could be your thing. We’ll give you the tools to succeed—training, mentorship, and access to a team that’s built around growth.

Requirements:- Have a proven track record in B2B sales or 3+ years of experience
- Understand valves, automation, instrumentation, or similar technical products—or are eager to learn
- Communicate clearly and know how to build lasting relationships
- Can manage a territory and stay organized without someone looking over your shoulder
- Have a valid driver’s license and can pass background and safety clearances
