What You'll Do Greet every customer warmly and create a personalized, joyful shopping experience. Share your knowledge and enthusiasm about our products and values. Listen to customers and recommend solutions that meet their needs—both for pets and people. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and fully stocked store. Assist with visual merchandising and in-store displays. Process sales using our POS system and handle cash/credit transactions. Receive and stock deliveries, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Support special events with setup, customer engagement, and breakdown. Work as part of a positive, goal-oriented team. What We're Looking For A passion for animals and a love for people. A natural sense of hospitality and eagerness to go the extra mile. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit. Reliability and flexibility, especially during busy weekend hours. Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus—but not required. Details Location: Polkadog Newbury Street, Boston Pay: $17/hour Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time availability. Minimum of 3 shifts/week including at least one weekend shift required for part-time roles. There is opportunity to also pick up shifts at our other locations.
