We have an immediate opening for a Pharmacy Technician for a 13 week contract at a State Supported Living Center in Richmond, TX.

Assignment Type: 13 Week Contract

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday – 8a – 5p

Duties Include:

Fill medication for medication carts and deliver the medications to the medication rooms at the facility. Fill new prescription labels and deliver medications to nursing units. Oral medication prepackaging using the prepackaging machine. Receive pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceuticals from the vendors and complete the receiving documentation. Assist with clerical duties as assigned, including preparation of reports by using Cerner, Microsoft Office and Business Objects. Assist with inventory management by adjustment of medication in the pharmacy computer system and participating with inventory. Maintain proper records, storage, security conditions for drugs and pharmaceutical supplies. Received and fills floor stock and refill orders, charge on computer to create labels and fill medication for review by pharmacists.

Requirements:

Must have current C.PH.T registration from Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Must have current PTCB registration or equivalent approved by Texas State Board of Pharmacy
