Purpose
The Philanthropic Consultant will lead the identification and cultivation of ultra-high net worth donors through inside sales strategies to drive sustainable growth, loyalty, and retention of our most profitable accounts.
Summary
The Philanthropic Consultant (SPC) is a key driver of growth within our inside sales business unit. This role blends service and sales to engage ultra-high net worth donors through inbound and outbound strategies. The SPC uses deep industry knowledge, consultative skills, and a client-first mindset to uncover needs, potion solutions, and convert opportunities into long-term relationships that fuel sustainable growths to fulfill donors’ end-to-end philanthropic goals.
Responsibilities
Sales Execution and Growth:
Uncovers, qualifies, and executes opportunities to engage ultra-high net worth donors in consultative dialogues to drive long-term, sustainable growth, loyalty, and retention.
Owns a defined portion of the organization’s annual growth targets and is accountable for delivering results.
Proactively offers products and services to address donor needs and enhance the donor experience.
Supports the development and management of sales channels, pipelines, platforms, and portfolios of ultra-high net worth donors.
Relationship Management
Cultivate relationships using a curious, holistic approach to understanding what drives donors grating and contribution patterns.
Manages and resolves challenges, issues, and objections promptly and effectively while maintaining trust and minimizing disruptions.
Engages internal and external subject matter experts as needed and leader donor interactions appropriate.
Leadership and Enablement
Serves as a leader among peers and less tenured colleagues. Embraces change and provide reassurance in challenging situations.
Demonstrates accountability for donor issues by accepting ownership through transaction processes.
Role models donor first mindset balance with business objectives and priorities
Maintain a high level of industry, tax, and regulatory knowledge through formal and informal training opportunities.
Participates or leads special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirement
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Minimum of three years of financial services, sales, call center, or client services.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth through consultative sales.
Demonstrated experience building and nurturing strong working relationships.
Quick, curious, and versatile learner.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong data synthesis and relationship analysis skills to influence philanthropic decisions.
Ability to read an audience and flex professional style to maximize impact.
Operates with a sense of urgency while maintaining professional composure.

Successful completion of Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy within 18 months of starting position (CAP).
Experience with a CRM (Salesforce) is strongly preferred.
