About the Role
As a Product Sales Manager, you will be a key member of the Coesia North America Sales Team, leading the selling efforts for MGS Product Handling solutions. This role focuses on driving business growth through the development of new accounts and the support of existing customers in assigned global territories.
You will act as a strategic partner to both customers and internal stakeholders by providing accurate market intelligence, managing the proposal process, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the sales cycle. A strong technical understanding of the machinery is essential to align customer needs with the right solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets by developing and executing an annual sales plan, including travel schedules, sales strategies, and account targeting.
Identify and pursue key accounts through in-person meetings, prospecting activities, and coordinated marketing efforts.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and collaborative opportunity management.
Coordinate and support Independent Sales Representatives and OEM/VAR partners—set goals and review monthly activity reports.
Understand technical aspects of MGS machinery to effectively position and tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
Gather and submit detailed project information to the Applications Engineering team to support the creation of accurate proposals.
Close deals and ensure a seamless handoff to the Operations team by clearly communicating order requirements.
Provide monthly sales forecasts using CRM tools to support internal capacity planning.
Maintain compliance with travel and expense budgets, submitting timely and accurate reports.
Continuously research and identify new sales opportunities within the North American territory and existing accounts.
Support the development of sales tools, marketing initiatives, and internal alignment efforts.
Step in to assist other Sales Managers as needed and support Project Management during customer visits.
Work closely with customers, legal teams, and the Head of Sales to ensure alignment on contract terms and order expectations.
This role requires approximately 50% travel , both domestically and internationally, to effectively manage customer relationships and support business development efforts. What You Need to Be Successful
What you need to be successful Post-secondary education (BA\BS or higher) or equivalent professional experience + High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of three (3) years of Sales Management experience in a capital goods business with strong order closing experience or related experience
2+ years of Sales experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to understand technical products, including relevant technologies in the packaging machinery industry
Solid written oral and communications skills
Proven computing skills using Microsoft office suite products (PPT, Excel, Word, Teams, Dynamics, Project)
Self-starter who is effective working independently
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
Must have a valid driver’s license and passport Our Offer

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $95,000 annually. At MGS Machine, we aim to ensure that compensation reflects the skills, experience, and performance of each individual in their current role. The salary range takes into account a variety of factors, including education, work experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications. As a result, compensation for the selected candidate(s) may fall anywhere within this range.
