Vibrant Events is seeking a Production Engineer to support our growing live events operation. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to contribute behind the scenes. We welcome individuals who are open to training and learning technical aspects of delivering small to large audio, video, and lighting productionsincluding design, logistics, and most importantly, execution. Were looking for a dependable team player who takes initiative and ownership, and who thrives in fast-paced environments where every detail matters. Experience is preferred, but were open to training the right candidate who demonstrates self-motivation, critical thinking, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities: Load and unload vehicles with production and AV equipment Set up and break down gear at event or other production locations Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Track, manage, and maintain inventory of production equipment Coordinate logistics to ensure seamless operations from warehouse to site, including routing, scheduling, equipment prep, and on-site coordination Anticipate potential issues before they arise and take corrective actions in real time QA/QC of rental inventory
Qualifications: Prior experience in event production, AV, warehouse operations, or logistics is a plus but not required Self-motivated: Able to spot what needs to be done and take initiativewhether thats prepping gear for the next load-out, improving warehouse workflow, or jumping into on-site support without being asked Critical thinker: Comfortable analyzing complex situationslike adjusting setups when unexpected venue constraints arise or troubleshooting last-minute equipment issues under pressure Organized and detail-oriented: Able to maintain meticulous checklists, ensure all gear is accounted for, and prep events according to detailed specs without oversight Strong logistical coordination: Demonstrated ability to manage timing, transportation, and personnel flow from planning through execution. Bonus points for experience with routing software, calendars, or task boards Physically able to lift and move equipment (up to 55 lbs.) Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork Flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends when necessary Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced production environment
