Location: Hybrid – NYC or Boston Preferred or Remote (with travel) Reports To: Chief Operating Officer Position Overview: We are seeking a results-oriented and technically savvy Program Manager to lead the delivery and coordination of our utility bill management (UBM), demand response (DR) and customer interaction platforms. This role will serve as a key bridge between internal teams (product, engineering, customer success and sales) and external stakeholders (partners, vendors, utilities, aggregators, customers), ensuring successful deployment, adoption and operational excellence across our energy data and DR programs. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, energy domain knowledge and a passion for driving measurable impact through software that reduces cost, enhances resilience and unlocks value for commercial buildings. They are an exceptional communicator capable of building rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders both in person and phone-based interactions. Who We Are: Cortex is a leading energy optimization platform serving top commercial real estate owners with solutions including utility bill management, real time energy optimization, energy infrastructure project finance and demand response. We help building teams uncover actionable insights that improve Net Operating Income (NOI), reduce energy waste and accelerate asset energy performance. Key Responsibilities: Program Oversight and Delivery ·      Own end-to-end implementation and data accuracy for UBM, DR and customer interaction platform features across customer portfolios ·      Ensure program milestones, deliverables and SLAs are met with high quality and on schedule ·      Collaborate with customers, DR aggregators and building operators to coordinate enrollment, response events and compliance reporting Cross-Functional Coordination ·      Liaise with product and engineering teams to prioritize roadmap items, resolve bugs, and influence design based on customer feedback ·      Coordinate closely with customer success and onboarding teams to ensure data integration, accurate meter and tariff setup, and seamless customer experience ·      Serve as the internal subject matter expert on DR market rules, incentive structures, and billing systems across key regions (e.g., NYISO, PJM, ISONE).
