Summary Responsible for ensuring all callers and visitors are greeted promptly in a friendly and professional manner as well as performing essential office duties. Responsible forassisting local and national sales department of our radio and television advertising. The Sales Assistant not only assists the team members, but has the opportunity to build connections with various local businesses and establish and nurture client relationships. Key responsibilities include direct client communications, order entry, completion of production orders, and assisting the Senior Vice President and Business Operations Manager of the market. Essential Functions 1.Answers main offices phones. 2.Promptly passes along phone messages. 3.Prepares, processes, and tracks incoming and outgoing mail and FedEx packages. 4.Assists in maintaining a professional and organized office setting. 5.Provides administrative support and assistance to all departments as needed. 6.Assists in coordinating and organizing events such as meetings, luncheons, and departmental activities as needed. 7. Timely and accurate order entry for local and national sales. 8. Properly fills out time orders and production orders. 9. Aids in the production of advertising spots, scripts, translating scripts into Spanish and ensuring their completion. 10. Assist in administrative tasks for the market SVP and BOM. Required Education and Experience 1.Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel. 2.Valid Driver’s License and Personal Transportation. 3. CRM experience preferred 4. 1+ years in the broadcast industry or comparable experience Preferred Education and Experience 1.Degree from an accredited institution. 2.Bilingual Spanish/English. 3. Understanding of Nielsen Media Research information a plus
