SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Director will drive sales growth and market expansion for a leading solar racking company, focusing on developing strategic relationships with key customers and partners. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar or renewable energy sales, with expertise in racking solutions and a proven track record of closing large-scale projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. This position reports to the Senior EPC Sales Director, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is hybrid based out of Houston, TX and your remote office and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time.  This position is expected to travel up to 30%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management & Sales Coordinate with project management and operations to track order status and ensure timely delivery to customers. Collaborate with sales executives and management to develop and implement strategic sales approaches. Support marketing efforts to promote product and service features, benefits, and value propositions. Conduct effective product demonstrations for end-user customers and third-party suppliers. Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote products, expand the company’s network, and build relationships. Research and identify key contacts within target accounts to generate interest and drive sales. Maintain and expand a database of prospects within assigned territories and business lines. Partner with channel partners to build a strong sales pipeline and close deals. Sales Execution & Performance Actively manage assigned accounts and drive customer engagement. Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow-ups, outbound calls, and digital outreach. Target and achieve $10M in utility account sales within the first year. Understand customer needs, gather feedback, and communicate insights to the product team. Negotiate credit terms, pricing, and prepare sales order reports and documentation. Close sales and consistently meet or exceed quotas and targets. Utilize Salesforce or other Customer Management Systems (CMS) to track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales performance. Demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, particularly in the solar racking industry. Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably within engineering or business fields 8-10 years of solar sales A proven track record of utility-scale solar EPC sales and possess existing relationships at the executive level within customer organizations Proficient knowledge of project engineering, procurement, and construction processes and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills
