Regional Sales Director Job Description US Med-Equip (USME) partners with top hospitals across the nation to provide the highest quality movable medical equipment for patients in their care. USME is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Director to expand our account base in the U.S. USME is in a high growth mode, providing medical equipment services to hospitals and medical facilities across the nation. Job Summary This is a hands-on role that will require travel across the territory when supporting, managing, and training the business development representatives in your defined territory. The selected candidate will have a successful background in sales management, having managed a sales team in a specified territory with defined sales quotas. Preference may be given to candidates who have a background in medical equipment sales/leasing, medical sales, or healthcare. Roles and Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and train a team of business development representatives (BDRs) in your defined territory Assist BDRs in prospecting and developing business to achieve quota Work with BDRs to develop proposals for presentation to customer Contact prospective customers to determine needs and perform sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs Schedule and steward regular regional sales team meetings with aligned agenda Drive follow up and next actions via formal sales process to achieve revenue Maintain sales records and prepares sales reports as required Provide follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided Understand competition in region and general business climate Remain knowledgeable of US Med-Equip's service and equipment portfolio to facilitate sales effort Align resources (VP, Sales, CDO, and Strategic Alliance Team) to engage multiple buying influences at any key account Coordinate account resources internally with representatives from inside sales, marketing, equipment management, operations, and sales leadership Possess and continually develop and maintain the strongest of skills through advanced training, study, and work experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business or sales management required Minimum of ten years selling experience in medical sales Minimum of three years of sales team management required Experience creating focused, collaborative, results-driven teams Proven, consistent over achievement of sales quotas required Highly motivated sales starter and ability to work independently Excellent presentation skills required Ability to learn new technologies quickly required Must be extremely sensitive & adaptive to both stated and unstated customer needs Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations required Ironclad integrity required Ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients required Ability to prospect and qualify potential accounts required Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Business Development Industries Hospitals and Health Care Medical Equipment Manufacturing
