Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for Regional Sales Manager - Midwest Region. This is permanent job. The work will be done remotely with 50% travel. Compensation is $140K base + bonus. Our customer manufactures industrial safety equipment.
We are seeking a motivated sales professional to drive growth of explosion protection products across industrial sectors in the Midwest U.S. Region, including food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, wood, and manufacturing. This role focuses on selling technical safety systems such as explosion vents, suppression devices, isolation equipment, and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow market share
Build long-term relationships with engineers, plant managers, and purchasing teams
Deliver product presentations, site assessments, and customer support
Translate customer needs into tailored technical solutions
Track sales activity in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), prepare reports and forecasts
Stay current on industry standards (NFPA, OSHA, ATEX) and train clients accordingly
Partner with technical and marketing teams for solution delivery and campaign support
Represent company at trade shows and industry events
Requirements:
5+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably in explosion protection, process safety, or related fields
Technical understanding of explosion safety systems and industry codes
BachelorÂ’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Willing to travel up to 50% in the Midwest U.S.
