Regional Sales Manager - Southwest US

Kane Partners is on the hunt for a Regional Sales Manager to spearhead growth and customer success in the Southwest U.S. region. In this role, you’ll be the face of our brand—developing key accounts, hunting new opportunities, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners. What You’ll Be Doing: · Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business across your territory · Manage and strengthen relationships with key customers and channel partners · Meet—and aim to exceed—sales and booking targets · Collaborate with reps, distributors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer support · Identify and close new business through networking, lead generation, and referrals · Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements · Work closely with engineering teams to support technical requirements and design wins · Monitor market trends and competitor activity—bring back insights that drive action · Keep CRM (MS Dynamics) updated with accurate records, forecasts, and reports · Share regular updates via trip reports, forecasts, and customer feedback What You Bring to the Table: Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience Experience: · 5 years of territory sales experience in high-reliability markets (aerospace, defense, medical) · Strong track record of selling electronic components or similar technical products · Magnetic component experience? That’s a big plus! Skills & Knowledge: · Solid understanding of electronic components and circuit fundamentals · Familiar with manufacturing processes and industry tech · Skilled negotiator and communicator with solid presentation abilities · CRM experience (MS Dynamics preferred) · Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) · Collaborative mindset—you work well across sales, engineering, and customer service teams Physical & Travel Requirements: · Able to sit, stand, walk, talk/hear, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs · Some reaching, stooping, and vision focus required · Reasonable accommodations provided as needed · Willing and able to travel up to 60% within the region · Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid passport
