Overview Join to apply for the Regional Sales Manager role at Rainbow Ecoscience . 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP) Company (Determined compensation will be dependant upon individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location and other relevant factors) As a Regional Sales Manager for Rainbow Ecoscience (a division of Rainbow Companies), you will provide strategic leadership to a regional sales team, driving execution of revenue plans and performance metrics across assigned territories. This role involves direct leadership and management of Rainbow Ecoscience Sales Territory Managers, including coaching, performance management, and alignment with organizational objectives. This role will require up to 50% travel and is open to candidates who reside within 50 miles of a major airport. What You Will Do Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to capture new business and retain existing customers. Training, Coaching and Mentorship of Rainbow Ecoscience Sales Territory Managers (TMs): Provide regular coaching and training to help team members develop their sales skills, discovery, and buying conversations and improve performance. Spend time in the field doing ride-alongs with TMs to observe and train on actual sales conversations and actions with clients/prospects. Market Expansion and Business Development: Identify new market opportunities and support TMs in acquiring new clients. Monitoring, Analyzing Performance and Accountability: Set performance benchmarks and hold the team accountable for results. Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent: Identify and recruit high-performing salespeople aligned with the teams needs and Rainbow Companies values; foster a positive and growth-oriented culture.
Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of sales management/sales leadership experience supporting sales individuals and teams Bachelor of Science in business, sales management, organizational leadership; OR a BS in a green industry major such as horticulture, turfgrass science, forestry/urban forestry, landscape management or a related plant science/agriculture field. Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications 3 years of direct sales experience in the green industry (tree care and/or landscape maintenance) is preferred. 3+ years of B2B sales experience as a distributor or manufacturer sales representative.
