Our mission is to provide the protection that makes this possible, for every worker, everywhere.SUMMARYWe're looking for an aggressive and disciplined sales professional with a problem solving consultative sales approach, expertise in specifying products to large end users and experience managing distributors in the industrial and/or PPE markets.LOCATIONThe territory for this position is West Texas, covering Midland-Odessa, El Paso, Amarillo, and Laredo. The location of the home office for a Regional Sales Manager is flexible but preferably in the Midland-Odessa metropolitan area.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESWork with plant safety professionals at large industrial end users to identify safetyproblems and opportunities to reduce injuries and costsRecommend, specify and/or develop appropriate HexArmor solutionsAssist customer Safety Management and at times with purchasing/procurement to buildeconomic justification based on reduction in injuries and PPE costsAssist plant and divisional safety management in the roll out of new PPE policies locally,regionally, and nationallyEstablish relationships and credibility with divisional and corporate level safety officersEstablish productive relationships and credibility with local, regional, and nationaldistribution managementSupport and develop champions at local, regional, and national safety distribution partnersCollaborate with inside sales person at HexArmor using a team-based sales approachwhen needed. Communicate effectively with inside sales counterpart to keep her/himinformed of territory activities.Communicate product and market needs to Product Development and sales managementWork with Supply Chain as needed to share information around existing and newbusiness to ensure appropriate inventory levelsProvide training for distributors' inside and outside sales personnel in their regionAble to give impactful local/regional level safety presentationsManages a detailed book of business plus actively working a target listMeets with end users both at the field level and executive levelAttend industry specific regional and national safety conferences as requiredUsing Salesforce.com CRM to plan and record daily, weekly, monthly activitiesForecast pending and future business in CRM opportunity management system forinventory planningManage expenses to maintain profitability targets for the region including travel, samples,distributor supportTake on additional projects and responsibilities as needed by sales managementAbility to travel 60% or more overnightREQUIREMENTSProven ability to help customers solve problemsDesire and ability to work in fast-paced environment and be part of a high performanceteamExcellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently without daily supervisionAbility to communicate clearly and collaboratively by phone/email to prospects andcustomers.Process driven and ability to manage customer expectations thru the HexArmor solutionsprocessExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ExcelAbility to learn and use CRMSalesforce.comEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree and or 2+ years' experience in industrial sales workexperience preferredProven success managing a multi-state territoryExperience working for a manufacturer or distributor calling on end users and distributorsProven success in industrial accounts a plusCOMPENSATION Base plus quarterly commissionHexArmor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
