Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is an individual contributor role, responsible for generating new client revenue within their assigned territory. This role focuses on prospecting, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business challenges, and matching those challenges with the Corptax suite of corporate tax technology solutions.
The Regional Sales Manager works with internal teams to deliver consultative guidance, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations that align with the prospect’s needs. By becoming a trusted advisor, the Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in ensuring client success, retention, and ongoing revenue growth.
This is a consultative, client-facing role requiring strong relationship management, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive sales opportunities to closure in a competitive, enterprise software environment.
Key Responsibilities
Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas by creating new revenue streams using a consultative and analytical sales approach
Learn and understand Corptax product features and benefits and be able to communicate their value
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings, providing valuable insights on Corptax solutions.
Work as a team with the lead generation team to build a qualified prospect base
Contribute to sales activities and telemarketing efforts to drive prospective client appointments
Work with prospects to understand their strategic vision and objectives while aligning our products to match their needs.
Partner with Sales Engineers to deliver impactful product demonstrations tailored to individual situations.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key account decision makers
Execute plans to increase product exposure & identify key market opportunities and growth areas within assigned territory
Maintain accurate account plans, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of enterprise software solution sales experience (preferably in tax, finance, compliance, or related B2B SaaS).
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
Proven “Hunter” background
Experience selling software solutions into vertical markets and or region.
Experience building a sales pipeline and positioning business to close
