This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, while supporting the Sales Manager in achieving company-wide and individual sales objectives. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, accountable, and ready to take full ownership of the sales process. This position requires strong direct sales and account management experience and will involve close collaboration with outside sales representatives and customers in the assigned region.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for customers and sales representatives in an assigned territory.Generate leads through research, directories, trade shows, and other sources.Reach out to prospective clients via phone and in-person meetings.Qualify leads, gather technical information, and maintain the sales pipeline.Follow up on leads and referrals and perform site visits to assess customer requirements.Prepare and deliver quotes, sales contracts, and monitor order delivery.Collaborate with engineering to define product specifications.Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.Provide technical presentations and proposals tailored to specific customer requirements.Deliver exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships.Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings.Participate in trade shows, webinars, and promotional events.Collect past-due payments and manage customer credit status.Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems.Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.2-4 years of relevant sales experience.Preferred experience in direct sales and account management.Industry background in plastics manufacturing, automotive, injection molding, or machinery preferred.Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM/ERP systems.Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel 50-60% within the assigned region.Additional DetailsSalary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually (no commission).Work Schedule: 100% onsite, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
