The Gainey Agency seeks a Remote Sales Agent to provide professional client support and drive sales of life insurance and related financial protection products. This remote, commission-based role requires proactive client engagement, accurate recordkeeping, and collaboration with the team to meet performance goals while maintaining high standards of service.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct inbound and outbound phone and email interactions to identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
Present product features, underwriting considerations, and policy benefits clearly and accurately.
Manage the sales process from initial contact through policy issue, including timely follow-up on leads and pending items.
Provide basic policy servicing support such as beneficiary updates, endorsements, and claims assistance or routing to appropriate resources.
Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, quotes, applications, and status updates in the company CRM.
Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and performance metrics.
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team meetings to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
Adhere to regulatory and company compliance requirements, including privacy and recordkeeping standards.
Typical day:
Review schedule and prioritize outreach to prospects and existing clients.
Conduct scheduled calls and respond to inbound inquiries, documenting outcomes in the CRM.
Follow up on outstanding applications and underwriting requests to move cases to completion.
Attend virtual team meetings or training sessions and coordinate with colleagues on complex client needs.
Required qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a remote, performance-driven environment.
Basic proficiency with CRM systems, video conferencing, and common digital communication tools.
Ability to pass a background check as required by company policy.
Preferred qualifications:
Active life insurance license or willingness to obtain a license (guidance and support provided).
Prior experience in sales, insurance, or customer service.
Familiarity with lead management and remote outreach best practices.
