This role encompasses responsibility for inventory management, pet care operations, financial outcomes, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Key Responsibilities People Leadership: Play a pivotal role in recruitment, coaching, and mentoring. Engage in improving the associate experience through effective training and support. Ensure high standards of care for pets and maintain compliance with store operations. Foster a collaborative environment by validating tasks and proactively addressing associate concerns. Store Experience Management: Oversee the care of store-owned pets, ensuring they receive the highest standards of health and wellness. Maintain inventory control and merchandising excellence while enhancing customer experiences. Actively respond to sales trends to drive merchandising decisions. Expense Management: Optimize business growth by analyzing performance metrics and managing expenses effectively. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years in retail leadership or a customer-centered environment. Full availability with a flexible schedule; must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Proficient in computer applications with strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure while demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently, with occasional lifting of heavier items.
