Retail Sales Associate Sustainable & Secondhand Fashion (Full-Time) (Bellingham)
New Yesterday
Join Our Team for a Sustainable Fashion Journey We're launching a small but impactful secondhand clothing store in downtown Bellingham, dedicated to sustainability, affordability, and local impact. We believe fashion can be better for people, the planet, and your wallet. This is a full-time role for someone ready to do more than just clock in, someone who wants to show up, get involved, and help create something meaningful from the ground up. From the sales floor to behind the scenes, you'll be part of keeping great clothes in circulation and out of the landfill.
About the Role: You'll start by working side-by-side with the owner to learn the ropes, no need to know everything on day one. This is a customer-facing position with a mix of creative and practical work. You'll handle everything from pricing and styling clothes, to chatting with customers, taking photos, shipping out orders, and keeping the store looking sharp.
Key Responsibilities:
Open/close and maintain an inviting, on-brand sales floor
Handle clothing intake, pricing, and customer communications
Photograph and list items for online sales
Show off select pieces for social media posts

Previous retail experience, especially in apparel or boutique environments
Familiarity with fashion trends, brands, or styling across different aesthetics
Basic know-how in mending, repairing, or altering clothing --- even if it's just patching your own jeans or sewing buttons back on
Not sure if you meet every qualification? If this role excites you and aligns with your values, we'd still love to hear from you.
