Operate cash registers efficiently, handling transactions accurately and maintaining cash drawer integrity. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and stocked. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques. Utilize phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting customers over the phone. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to engage with diverse clientele. Experience with cash register operations and handling financial transactions is advantageous. Familiarity with upselling techniques and retail sales strategies will be beneficial. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader range of customers.
