In this position, you will interact closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the ideal solutions. Your commitment to resolving customer concerns promptly will ensure maximum satisfaction. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will: Deliver exceptional customer service to achieve and exceed the store's sales goals. Assist customers both in-person and via phone, identifying their needs and providing appropriate product recommendations. Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers. Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies. Continuously meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain organized work order files and formulas. Prepare products by mixing and tinting them to customer specifications. Keep shelves stocked, set up displays, and maintain a clean store environment. Support delivery operations by loading/unloading trucks as needed. Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and available options. Contribute ideas for enhancing sales and improving customer experience. This is a part-time position with a competitive starting pay of $13.75 per hour. This role is based at Store #701962, located at 140 W Main St, Newark, OH 43055. To be considered for this role, candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver's license. Additional physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally. Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, is also required. Preferred qualifications include: A high school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service. Experience selling paint and related products. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment. Knowledge of more than one language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
