As a Retail Sales Associate, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products. Your primary goal is to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction while actively contributing to the store's sales objectives. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering exceptional customer service through knowledgeable product recommendations. Assisting customers both in-store and over the phone, addressing inquiries, and presenting suitable products and services. Building strong, trusting relationships with customers. Accurate processing of sales transactions according to company policies. Meeting and exceeding sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas. Efficiently pulling necessary products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tinting and mixing products to match customer specifications when required. Restocking shelves and arranging displays to enhance product visibility. Cleaning store equipment to uphold store standards. Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed. Assisting with deliveries as required. Maintaining assigned areas in a neat and presentable condition. Staying informed about products and discussing options with customers. Following inventory control procedures effectively. Contributing ideas to improve sales strategies. This position is part-time and will be based at Store #2657, located at: 3192 US Highway 70, Black Mountain, NC, 28711. To qualify for this role, candidates must: Be at least eighteen (18) years old. Be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. Be proficient in reading, writing, comprehension, and communication in English and Spanish. Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve materials and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred qualifications include: A High School diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles. Previous experience selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
