Position Overview The Retail Sales Consultant is a vital role focused on generating sales and ensuring a remarkable customer experience. In addition to driving sales, you will be entrusted with various operational tasks as outlined by the management team, including maintaining store cleanliness and visual presentation standards. Reports To: Store Management Essential Functions Customer Experience Greeting Customers: Welcome customers warmly upon their entry with a friendly smile and genuine greeting. First Impressions: Create an inviting first impression with a positive demeanor while adhering to the professional dress code. Store Standards: Ensure a clean and organized shopping environment by following store cleanliness protocols. Product Information: Share up-to-date, relevant information with customers regarding product offerings. Fitting Room Service: Provide exceptional assistance in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, keep cash wrap tidy, and encourage additional purchases. Cash Wrap Efficiency: Deliver quick and efficient service at the cash wrap, promote Gift Cards, keep the area clean, and gather customer information for future outreach. Customer Appreciation: Genuinely thank each customer for their visit as they exit the store. Cooperation & Dependability Task Completion: Complete all assignments from management satisfactorily. Punctuality: Arrive on time and adhere to your scheduled shifts. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve team goals. Policy Adherence: Comply completely with company policies and procedures. Housekeeping: Undertake housekeeping responsibilities as needed. Personal Performance Sales Goals: Strive to meet or exceed assigned Sales per Hour (SPH) metrics. Miscellaneous Responsibilities Meetings and Functions: Actively participate in all store meetings and related events. Positive Attitude: Exhibit enthusiasm for the merchandise and the company. Inventory Participation: Be involved in inventory management activities. Additional Duties: Take on other assignments as directed by store management. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift over 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts. Job Requirements Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and customer service abilities. Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail is preferred. Team Player: Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
