GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE: The Retail Sales Leader (RSL) plays a critical role in driving our mission, vision, and values by nurturing a high-performance team that consistently achieves sales growth across our diverse product range. Leading a dedicated group of Beauty Advisors, Prestige Beauty Advisors, and Lead Cashiers, the RSL is accountable for all retail operations, promoting an exceptional guest experience, and achieving our Net Promoter Score (NPS). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Performance: Foster a culture of accountability to surpass Ulta Beauty's sales and service goals, driving profitability by analyzing metrics and devising strategic solutions. Plan engaging in-store events that enhance the guest experience while meeting sales and payroll objectives. Perform beauty services such as makeup applications and skincare analyses to enhance guest service and drive sales. Stay current with industry trends and product knowledge to better assist guests. Ensure compliance with attendance policies for yourself and team members. People: Attract and retain a dynamic team by effectively addressing staffing needs and creating an inclusive work environment. Encourage professional development among team members through ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews. Build strong relationships with brand partners to collaboratively achieve sales and service goals. Lead by example in delivering top-notch guest services and fostering a culture of teamwork. Process: Exhibit knowledge of Ulta Beauty's policies and ensure adherence to operational standards. Utilize company tools for task management and scheduling to maximize efficiency. Minimize loss and protect assets by ensuring compliance with safety, inventory control, and cash management standards. Communicate feedback to leadership on business trends and operational needs to drive continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 2-3 years in retail management with a track record of achieving sales goals and managing budgets. Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to multitask effectively. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Availability for a flexible, full-time work schedule, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to attend corporate meetings and events. COMPENSATION: The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hour, with opportunities for bonuses. Full-time positions offer paid time off and various health benefits.
