Job Title: Robot Sales Engineer

Location: Ohio (Remote-based within the state; Preferred: Cleveland, Columbus, or Cincinnati)

Territory: State of Ohio

Travel: 25–40% within territory Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Robot Sales Engineer to join our team and drive sales of industrial robotic systems across Ohio. This is a customer-facing, consultative sales role focused on providing automation solutions to manufacturing clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in robotics or automation, paired with a proven ability to close business and build lasting relationships. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow sales within an established Ohio territory Identify and pursue new business opportunities in manufacturing and industrial sectors Conduct client needs assessments and propose customized robotic automation solutions Collaborate with engineering and integration teams to support solution development Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers Prepare proposals, quotations, and close sales opportunities Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports Attend trade shows and industry events to promote products and solutions Minimum Skills & Abilities

Qualifications: 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation or robotic systems Proven success in capital equipment sales or automation system sales Strong understanding of robotic systems (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, etc.) Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Technical aptitude and ability to translate customer needs into engineered solutions Engineering degree preferred, but not required Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available) Must reside in Ohio; relocation assistance is not offered
