As a Roofing Sales Manager for Champion, you will have the opportunity to earn a six figure income up to $140,000 per year (base plus bonuses)  while helping others improve their homes and improve their lives. The Roofing Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Roofing Sales Representatives, driving revenue growth through new client acquisition, and ensuring the satisfaction of existing customers. This individual plays a key role in managing the sales process from lead generation through project completion, ensuring that all roofing solutions meet customer needs and expectations. • Assigns and manages sales appointments for Roofing Sales Representatives and handles personal appointments with residential homeowners interested in roofing services. • Coaches, mentors, and motivates the roofing sales team to achieve performance goals. • Conducts regular training sessions to ensure consistency in sales presentations and adherence to the company’s sales process and standards. • Travels to prospective clients’ homes to present roofing product options and solutions using company-approved methods to secure sales contracts. • Accurately assesses and measures roofing needs, ensuring all technical aspects are captured for job accuracy. • Completes and reviews contracts, collects customer deposits, and assists with financing paperwork when needed. • Submits completed contracts to the office promptly for management review. • Proactively generates new leads and prospects through outreach, referrals, and local marketing strategies. • Follows up with clients and collaborates with the installation team to ensure projects are completed to satisfaction. • Performs job site visits during or after roofing installations to maintain quality control and client satisfaction. • Represents the company at trade shows, local events, and open houses; occasionally works in the showroom per schedule. • Attends ongoing sales training, team meetings, and professional development seminars. • Maintains a professional appearance in line with company standards and serves as a brand ambassador. • Works a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client availability and attend special events. • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: • Proven sales experience, ideally in roofing, construction, or home improvement industries. • Strong leadership and team management skills with previous supervisory experience preferred. • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. • Ability to read blueprints, understand roof structures, and use measurement tools accurately. • High level of professionalism and customer service orientation. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Consistent attendance and reliability. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent experience. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management or a similar role, with a demonstrated record of success. • Experience in direct sales and team leadership is highly preferred. Physical Requirements: • Ability to travel within the region territory, including conducting ride-alongs with Sales Representatives. • Must be able to operate standard office equipment and engage in extensive verbal communication. • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks in various environments, including on-site customer visits.
