Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety, fleet, and Department of Transportation (DOT) policies, reflecting our culture of responsibility and commitment to workplace and product safety.
Drive sales by actively engaging with store managers, replenishing sections, and identifying opportunities for displays, endcaps, and promotional tie-ins.
Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, reinforcing our attention to detail and focus on long-term partnerships.
Manage daily product needs by driving a DOT-certified company vehicle between assigned stores and the offsite warehouse.
Maintain accurate inventory records, handle necessary paperwork, and complete reports, consistently demonstrating personal accountability and a commitment to quality.
Unload products shipped directly to the warehouse, verify product counts, and store new inventory properly in the designated area.
Ensure that your Freudenberg vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed for each day’s deliveries.
Begin each day by reviewing objectives and conclude by communicating results, sales opportunities, or specific needs with your District Manager (DM).
Follow the established frequency of service for each customer, ensuring superior value with every visit.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; post-high-school studies preferred.
Proven ability to work independently, employing strong business judgment.
Valid DOT Medical Card (renewed at least annually) and clean driving record.
Experience driving a DOT-certified truck (up to 16') and Direct Sales Delivery (DSD).
