We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Route Sales Representative. Key Responsibilities: Sales Calls: Engage in effective sales calls to promote our products and services, fostering positive relationships with existing and potential customers. Use technology tools to efficiently learn customer situations and proactively address opportunities on each visit. Deliveries: Efficiently plan and execute timely deliveries to customers in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all deliveries. Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitors, providing valuable insights for business development. Price Quoting: Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes for customers, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Answering Phone Calls: Professionally handle incoming calls, addressing customer inquiries, providing information, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly resolving issues, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Driving: Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. Safely operate company vehicles to facilitate deliveries and other business-related tasks. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50+lbs. Capability to jump/lift oneself onto a delivery truck. Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in understanding DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Systems and related parts. Familiarity with our company system, "Quickbase," to efficiently manage and track business processes. Flexibility: Adaptability to handle unexpected events and changes in a dynamic work environment. Ability to quickly pivot and prioritize tasks to meet business needs. Payment Collection: Responsible for collecting payments from customers in accordance with company policies. Qualifications: Proven experience in logistics, sales, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good driving record. Organized with excellent time-management abilities. Proficient in using relevant software and tools. Knowledge of DPF Systems and Quickbase is an advantage.
