You will be joining a team of product, technology, and design leaders focused on challenging the status quo and building this business." Roles and Responsibilities Leverage customer and competitor insights, analytics, and creative thinking to develop compelling materials to support meetings and pitches with prospective partners.
Identify impediments to the business development process and autonomously solve or escalate to senior leaders as needed.
Utilize multiple channels (email, phone, direct mail, LinkedIn) to prospect and set presentations with potential clients.
Create testing, evaluation, and performance feedback processes.
Provide ongoing consumer research expertise and consultation to internal partners and senior leaders in support of marketing strategy decisions.
Lead research design, execution, and delivery of insights using brand measurement sources, trackers, pre-testing, in-market advertising, and ad-hoc studies; engage outbound activity to target ideal customers.
Track and manage sales activities in CRM systems.
Communicate customer needs with software developers, managers, and executives.
Submit orders for sales processing and negotiate service agreements and product prices with customers.
Discuss software needs with customers to determine best-matched products and advise on technical matters regarding software options.
Business Growth: Develop understanding of partner business dynamics and identify opportunities to strengthen strategic relationships to mutual growth, improve customer experience, and position Capital One Software as the partner of choice. Influence senior leaders on storytelling, value proposition, and marketing recommendations. Partnership: Evaluate industry trends and market dynamics to engage the right partners and advance Capital One Software projects and products that positively impact the customer experience. Collaboration: Work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Customer Success and others to drive quality, volume, service, and profitability. Strategic Leadership: Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success in a changing market. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in business development using a CRM
At least 2 years of experience with Enterprise SaaS Sales
Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of Salesforce, Databricks, or other cloud-related technology sales platform
5+ years of experience in business development using a CRM
2+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake
3+ years of experience with Enterprise SaaS Sales
Ability to influence, take initiative, and drive results in a fast-paced environment

This information applies to candidates hired to work in specific locations and reflects the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked. Remote (Regardless of Location): $165,000 - $165,000 for Sr. Manager, SaaS Sales Richmond, VA: $165,000 - $165,000 for Sr. Manager, SaaS Sales San Francisco, CA: $165,000 - $165,000 for Sr. Manager, SaaS Sales Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual offer will be in the offer letter. This role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI), discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
