We’re seeking a dynamic Field Sales & Marketing Manager to work with our distributor network to drive placement into new on & off premise accounts, manage relationships/sales volume with existing accounts, and build consumer trial, awareness, and engagement across the Omaha NE, Sioux Falls/Sioux City SD markets. This full-time role is 85% sales/account management and 15% demo/event marketing activations.You’ll work closely with the leadership and events teams to build a book of business across trade channels including: Off-Premise Grocery Stores, Convenience Stores, On-Premise Bars/Restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Sales Manager / Field Marketing & Activations (85%)
Represent Shift Naturals at retail accounts, community gatherings, and wellness events.
Educate consumers about the brand, our product benefits, and the Shift experience.
Work with retailers to schedule tastings and align with in-store promotions.
Capture on-the-ground content during demos and events to amplify brand visibility.
Account Development & Relationship Management
Build and manage relationships with off-premise (retail, grocery) and on-premise (bars, breweries, restaurants) partners.
Drive new business development by expanding territory points of distribution and maintaining regular account visits.
Act as the face of Shift Naturals for NE and SD metropolitan areas—bringing the brand to life across all customer touchpoints.
Collaborate with store managers and staff to secure premium shelf space, display opportunities, and co-branded promotions.
Work with distributor partners to ensure product availability and alignment with programming.
Ensure retail accounts are consistently stocked, compliant, and merchandised according to brand standards.
Create and implement in-store displays and point-of-sale (POS) solutions to maximize brand visibility.
Track sales velocity and use data to make real-time improvements in product placement and presentation.
Sales Tracking & Territory Reporting
Maintain detailed records of account activity using CRM tools.
Prepare weekly summaries of wins, learnings, and opportunities across your territory.
Monitor product inventory, deliveries, and re-orders to avoid out-of-stock scenarios.
Field Activations & Community Events
Plan and support local pop-ups, in-store tastings (8–10 per month), and regional activations to drive product trial and brand awareness.
Represent Shift Naturals at retail accounts, community events, and wellness gatherings, including farmers markets, festivals, and marathons.
Educate consumers on product benefits and the Shift experience while maintaining brand professionalism.
Coordinate with retailers to schedule tastings and align activations with store promotions.
Capture and share event content to support digital storytelling and amplify brand visibility.
Collaborate with the Field Marketing team and future Events & Activations Manager to ensure local efforts align with broader campaign strategy.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in beverage, CPG, natural foods, or brand marketing (including social media and field activations).
Strong writing, communication, and visual storytelling skills.
Experience planning and executing demos, tastings, or consumer-facing events.
Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams.
Based in or near the Omaha Metropolitan Area with strong knowledge of the local retail and food/beverage landscape.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Proficient with mobile and digital tools such as Google Suite, Square, CRM systems, Meta Suite, and Figma.
Comfortable onboarding and supporting part-time demo staff or brand ambassadors when needed.
Collaborative spirit with a competitive edge—solution-oriented, proactive, and mission-aligned.
Willingness to travel occasionally for regional events, retailer meetings, and brand activations.
