Overview A 108-year-old food manufacturer/distributor is seeking a sales representative to play a pivotal role in building and scaling a robust sales team. The focus is expanding our ingredient line to new clients, upselling existing customers, and penetrating new markets throughout the U.S. This leader will work with the CEO to execute the sales strategy, vision, and goals of the organization. They will leverage their wide network of clients and industry connections to drive revenue growth/profitability through effective sales management, business development, and client relationship management. They will lead negotiations and contract discussions with key clients and partners, and stay updated on market trends, the competitive landscape, and client needs to ensure offerings remain relevant and competitive and ensure we stay market leaders in the food industry. Base pay $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Responsibilities Collaborate with the CEO to execute the sales strategy, vision, and goals of the organization. Expand the ingredient line to new clients, upsell existing customers, and penetrate new markets across the U.S. Leverage a broad network of clients and industry connections to drive revenue growth and profitability. Lead sales management, business development, and client relationship management activities. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with key clients and partners. Stay informed about market trends, the competitive landscape, and client needs to keep offerings relevant and competitive. Qualifications Experience in sales leadership and business development, preferably in food manufacturing/distribution. Strong network and industry connections. Ability to negotiate contracts and manage key client relationships. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze markets and adapt strategies accordingly.
