You will work cross-functionally with product managers, continuous improvement, order fulfillment, and other departments within the Mission Critical Environment division of Senneca Holdings. Responsible for the design and execution (and to some extent project management) of client projects along with members of the sales team. Assist the sales team with backend duties such as technical/installation drawings, acceptable design/use review, technical/design support, and client conference with sales team members. Generate accurate Bill of Materials, Quotes, and Proposals for multiple projects per week. Collaborate with assigned members of the Sales Team for process improvement, sales support expectations, and project completion. Work to improve efficiency to reduce waste in design to improve customer outcomes and company profitability. Problem solve project challenges/site discrepancies quickly and cost-effectively. Collaborate with Product Managers for successful implementation of new and existing products, including research and development, application, and product improvement. Travel to customer sites to validate designs, perform site measures, and support sales team as needed. 25% travel. Required Experience Solid knowledge of drafting and design theory and practices, a working knowledge of Parametric Modeling. 2 years experience in Solidworks/3D Modeling CAD, MS Office, and related business software. Ability to multitask, possess excellent time management skills, creative problem solving, excellent written and verbal communication skills with minimal supervision. Ability to collaborate and create a cooperative work environment between peers, sales team, CAD/BIM drafters, production team, and installation team. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and installation/construction practices is preferred. Site measure experience is a plus. Some college/associate degree or greater in the engineering field or a few years of job experience.
