Overview:
Under the supervision of our U.S. Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier Vice President, you will work closely with both internal team members and external clients and partners, including but not limited to: -       The Sales team of which you will be part and which currently includes a Vice President, Sales Associates, Sales Assistants, Gallery Managers, Client Relations Managers, and Sales Administration Coordinators, spread across New York and Paris -       The Design and Development team, which develops specific, tailor-made customer proposals -       The Orders and Planning team that manages the purchase, production and manufacturing of PYMO parts -       The Logistics Team, in particular for the organization of transport services -       The administrative and financial team for the PY Group
Key Responsibilities : -       Generate quotes (furniture, transport and installation), purchase orders, invoices and delivery slips and track progress -       Process requests received by the Vice President and send commercial proposals and samples to clients -       Help follow up on all sales in a timely and organized manner -       Help manage a robust book of clients and maintain list of contacts assigned by territory -       Forward requests to the various teams (Design, Production, Logistics) and ensure follow up -       Communicate with production regarding potential orders, and ongoing orders that are in-process -       Communicate with the logistics manager to ensure that orders are delivered seamlessly and installed properly -       Become acclimated with all facets of the company to later step into an independent sales associate role -       Attend PY events in the New York area, including shows or fairs that PY participates in -       Maintain the Excel dashboard of confirmed sales for Sales Director -       Take part in occasional business travel and installation site-visits in the city -       Develop new client relationships once base knowledge of job is achieved -       Welcome private and professional clients in the showroom -       Educate industry professionals and end-users on craftsmanship -       Send certificate of authenticity -       Oversee product loan agreements
Profile: -       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent -       5 years of experience in sales assistance or administration, ideally in the world of furniture or the art market -       Excellent interpersonal skills and strong sense of customer service -       Can be both a strong team player and work independently and proactively -       Mastery of the Microsoft Office -       Proficiency with QuickBooks -       Fluency in English required, Proficiency in French strongly desired
