Position Overview: Seasonal Sales Associate

Reports to: Seasonal Store Manager

Employer: Noor Staffing Group (representing Hickory Farms)

The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience at our Hickory Farms locations. This role requires proactive engagement with customers, in-depth product knowledge, and a commitment to achieving personal and team sales goals. Sales Associates will work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and a high standard of service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales

Greet and approach every customer, offering personalized assistance and recommendations Drive sales by actively engaging customers and showcasing products Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives Product Knowledge & Merchandising Maintain extensive product knowledge to answer customer questions and drive purchases Restock and organize merchandise as directed to ensure an attractive and well-maintained store environment Customer Service & Problem Resolution Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience Provide outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Cash Handling & Loss Prevention Adhere to all company cash handling policies and loss prevention procedures Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system Safety & Compliance Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all safety protocols Report all injuries, safety hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager immediately Team Support & Other Duties Maintain energy and enthusiasm while on duty, contributing to a positive work environment Follow dress code standards and wear the provided apron at all times Complete all assigned training courses and materials Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager Education and/or Experience Must be 18 years old or older Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required Critical Competencies for Success: Passion for providing excellent customer service Integrity and honesty in all interactions Positive attitude with a proactive approach to customer concerns Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative Physical Demands: This position requires continuous movement and standing, with the ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours. Tasks involve walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and using repetitive motions.

Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally Exerting 25-35 lbs. of force frequently Constantly exerting up to 10 lbs. of force to move objects Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Work Environment:

This role is performed in a high-traffic retail mall environment, subject to increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and occasional hazards.

Travel: Local travel to other store locations may be required if additional Sales Associates are needed at those locations Additional Notes: This job description may be modified at any time to meet company or operational needs. Pay: $13.50 - $15.50
