About the Role: We are looking for a team member who can ensure a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products. Maintaining back stock in good order is crucial to our success. The ideal candidate will assist with sampling programs, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing. Cleaning cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required is essential to maintaining a healthy work environment. Providing excellent customer service is vital to addressing needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Maximizing sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product is key to our success. FOLLOWING established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices is mandatory. Performing opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing is necessary. This role requires learning basic knowledge of all products carried in the department, visually examining products for quality and freshness, and proactively reading labels and familiarizing oneself on various products. Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 pounds, standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day, and working in a wet and cold environment.
